Watermouth Cove is a wedding venue based in North Devon.
After getting in touch with Woodberry late 2021, Doug, one of our furniture experts went to have a face-to-face meeting with the staff.
They were looking for an outdoor furniture and shelter solution.
Doug’s face to face visit allowed him to properly assess their needs and suggest the right product for their establishment.
The Problem They Had
As Watermouth Cove is along the coast of North Devon they can see many weather extremes. So, they were in need of some hard wearing, weatherproof furniture that still looked great.
The weather was something that impacted their trade as bad weather meant that they couldn’t take on as many visitors.
Watermouth Cove needed to create a space that would be welcoming to customers no matter the weather. While considering this they also knew that they didn’t want to build again meaning they needed to provide shelter in another way.
The Solution We Created
We suggested that our commercial metal gazebo was the right way to go in terms of shelter. Watermouth Cove had this installed with side blinds that could be pulled down to shelter their customers from harsh winds or rainy weather.
By having heaters installed inside they were able to create a warm and welcoming shelter that keeps customers wanting to come back through all of the seasons.
Watermouth Cove were so impressed with the outdoor shelter solution they eventually went on to buy 2 more metal gazebos for their venue.

Installation
Watermouth Cove requested for our well-trained fitters to install their new metal gazebo.
The gazebo is a freestanding structure that was fixed to the patio ground. This helps to keep the frame secure through strong winds.
Our team of Woodberry installers then built the rest of the frame, inserted the roof louvers and inserted the blinds
This was a much quicker and simpler way of providing their customers outdoor shelter and it didn’t require any planning permission.
