We live in a society where recycling and caring for the environment is essential to everyone. Our customers and their customers are much more interested in how products and their packages are recycled.
Here at Woodberry of Leamington Spa, we have always been environmentally conscious. The wood we use to craft many of our catalogue products is FSC certified.  This gives our customers and us 100% assurance that the wood we use is high quality and ethically sourced and traded.

Material Recycling

If it can be recycled, then we have a process in place to ensure that no waste material is unnecessarily discarded. In April, we introduced an initiative to recycle all of our waste polythene; from the wrapping used as protection for material and accessories delivered to us in containers and on pallets. The polythene is collected once a fortnight and recycled into useful everyday products.   We also recycle our sawdust, which is donated to local businesses and used to mop up oil spills.  Our of-cuts of wood are rendered down and donated for use as kindling wood to a local charity.

Customer Furniture Recycling

Our furniture is built to the highest standard will last for many years. Overtime as the furniture pieces naturally age, some customers decide to recycle the furniture to different areas of their property. For example, a property serving high-end food and drink may decide to retire older units of furniture to more casual spaces around their property such as open parkland. Choosing spaces of beauty where visitors can enjoy their outdoors and our furniture with a picnic or ice cream. Before replacing the furniture with brand new shiny pieces to enhance their revenue generating spaces, encouraging customers to spend money.

Our Recycled Range

Yes, that’s right we have created a range that has been manufactured from recycled plastics, including hay bale wrappings and plastic milk and juice cartons. The range, built at our Leamington Spa workshop includes everything you need to make your outdoors inviting,  A-Frames,  Litterbins, Planters and Backless Benches. Any off-cuts left over are saved and recycled to produce new planks of Greendine, so you can be sure that you are doing your bit for the environment by choosing a Greendine installation.
