Cater for mixed generation groups
With restrictions being lifted, 2022 is finally going to allow families to plan big get-togethers and family holidays.
Make sure your outdoor tables and seating are accessible for young and old, and can accommodate larger groups sitting together.
We offer a variety of sizes of picnic tables from 2,4,6 to 8 seaters; some of these have easy access ‘walk-in’ seat benches. (Rather than the traditional step over bench seats).
We also offer some picnic tables with back rests which prove useful for older guests, and younger children, who need back support.
If you need the flexibility to push tables together to accommodate larger groups, we’d recommend tables with bench style seating like our Castle Range chunky wooden table and bench set.

Provide Outdoor Shelter and Warmth
After the last 2 years, people are now happy to sit outdoors and enjoy the fresh air more.
With the British weather being so unreliable, ensure your outdoor areas can host guests no matter the weather with outdoor shelters and patio heaters.
Provide Alfresco dining options, but with a weatherproof roof and make this a feature of your venue.

Plan the purpose of your outdoor spaces
Choose outdoor furniture that will work hard for its purpose;
- Restaurant terraces need tables that guests can enjoy meals at and comfortable dining chairs
- Outdoor bars might work harder for you with bar height furniture to differentiate this area
- Entertainment areas might require outdoor shelter so your outdoor events are not weather reliant
- Family Play Areas, parents are grateful for benches or picnic tables to use as a base camp
To maximise your outdoor business (and the throughput of your customers) you might need to zone your outdoor areas to ensure the right balance between dining tables and drinking areas.
